hi, i’m Whitney

God designed our bodies so incredibly perfect and there is nothing like watching a mother birth her baby exactly the way she wants to and feeling empowered in her God-given abilities.

I have personally went through a pretty traumatic cesarean and a redemptive VBAC. As I've grown on my journey in birth work, these qualities are what follow me most:

  • A listening ear to what mother's want most out of their birth experience

  • Knowledge surrounding natural birth

  • Invitation of the Holy Spirit into each mother's birth space

You and your partner know YOU. I know BIRTH. If given the chance, I am humbled to be invited into each birth space to welcome your new, little soul to this earth.

This is a moment you won’t want to forget.

The birth of children has been happening since the beginning of time. It has always been an intimate, holistic, and God-breathed event. It requires women to surrender themselves and to trust that they are in the hands of someone who is greater than them and who will give them strength when they feel weak.

I help mother’s dig deep into that truth and discover the confidence they need to birth their babies and rock their postpartum.

“I needed encouragement and warm words to help me mentally deal with the sudden change to my birth plan...it was like having a loving sister in the room.”

I’ve been so blessed to be invited into many women’s sacred birth space, so it’s only fitting I give you a glimpse into mine.

I have grown and molded into who I am today because of my experiences. In these first photos, you’re looking at a young mom who wanted a home birth. She bought all the things, made sure the nursery was good to go, and fantasized about pulling her baby into her arms…at home…in her birth pool. What I failed to study and educate myself on was the birth itself. I started at home, then ended up at the hospital after 44 hours of labor only to have a cesarean.

In the second set of photos, you’re looking at a mom who knew she didn’t want to relive that first birth that felt traumatic. She didn’t want to go through postpartum depression like last time. I found nurse midwives who delivered in a hospital and had my VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean).

You know as kindergartners, they ask you what you want to be when you grow up? Well birth worker WAS NOT on my radar. I didn’t know I’d have this beautiful obsession to encourage and document women’s most vulnerable moments. I’ve been blessed (and yes! At this point I can say blessed!) to have went through both a cesarean and VBAC. I believe that what I bring to your birth space is beyond what most can say.

They say mission statements are powerful, so here’s mine:

|I believe each birth is God-Breathed. Women have a beautiful instinct to birth their babies and there is war against this. My job is to protect and educate these women on exactly what their bodies are capable of. Being pregnant isn’t a medical emergency nor is it a disease that needs to be cured. You can be empowered to birth the way you want.|

Friend, I’m here to answer all of your questions and to make sure you walk into any stage of motherhood, educated.

Nobody said it was going to be Easy.

But they did say it would be Worth It.
